MOB Winter Cyclocross Wrap-up

January 22, 2008

Friends,

Good afternoon. We hope you are all doing well and enjoying this brisk weather.

Well, another season of cyclocross has come and gone. What a blast this season has been! Most recently, the North Carolina Winter Cup drew to a close in Greensboro, North Carolina in what purists would call “true ‘cross conditions”, i.e. cold rain and snow. As has been the case throughout the season, the MOB ‘Cross Syndicate was in attendance and by all accounts lots of fun was had by all.

In the standings, the Syndicate was able to hold on for second place in the highly competitive teams category. Again, this would not have been possible without the participation of Syndicate members Daryl Rains, Jared Roy, Charles von Isenburg, Jay Cox, Mark Jordan, and Kelly Holmes. Thanks to all of you guys for coming out and racing your bikes in January.

North Carolina is very fortunate to have a ‘cross series in both the fall and winter. For more information about cyclocross in North Carolina, visit www.nccyclocross.com. We are already looking forward to next season!

Thanks and we’ll see you soon!
