National Bike toWork Week, May 17 – 21

The League of American Bicyclists has deemed the month of May National Bike Month. May 17 – 21 is National Bike to Work Week. We are conducting a contest! Send us a picture or story pertaining to your commuting experience and you may receive a prize! 1 prize will be awarded from MOB and/or Krankies Coffee in downtown Winston-Salem per day on each of the 5 days during Bike to Work Week. Also, during this week, stop by MOB on your commute and receive a coupon for a free cup of coffee at Krankie’s! Friday the 21st is the Bike to Work Day in America! We will leading a group ride from the shop at 9 am to Krankies to commemorate the occasion with coffee and baked goods. Come down here on your bike at 9 am on the 21st and help us celebrate National Bike to Work Day! Ride your bikes!

  1. Hated to miss the ride to Krankies this morning. In honor of bike week – I rode my schwinn paramount fixie to work the last three days. Usually a 2 mile commute – but today via Duke’s restaurant for breakfast more like a 15 mile commute. Great day for it, though not a lot of others out on the road. Hope you guys had a good turnout.
