Hanes Park Classic this Sunday!

Hello Friends,

This week’s Mock Orange Road Ride is a classic. The 38 mile Lewisville Mill Loop is an old stand-by that is always a pleasure to ride. The group will depart from the shop at its normal time of 9 am on Saturday morning.

This Sunday, August 9 is going to be a great day here at Mock Orange!

This is the day of the annual Hanes Park Classic here in the West End, and coincidentally, Mock Orange is located right on the course! There will be amateur and professional bicycle racing around Hanes Park for the better part of the day. Be sure to come by and take in some great racing from the shop. We will be open as long as there is bike racing out there!

As an added bonus, the Look sponsored TIBCO Women’s Professional Cycling Team in the shop at 3 pm for a meet and greet/autograph session.

There will not be a ride with the team as previously reported due to logistical problems, but the Official Mock Orange Post-Race Party will transpire on the porch here at the shop beginning at 7 pm. Food and beverages will be provided for as long as they last. Please come and join in the fun on Sunday August 9!
