Happenings

Hello Friends,

We hope everyone is doing well this week and having a blast riding their bikes. You know, with gas prices going “though the roof” as they say, one can really save some cash by riding their bike to work, the grocery store, or any other normal errand. That’s just a word to the wise from your friendly neighborhood MOB right there.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Piedmont Triad Omnium last weekend! It was great to see so many of our MOB Syndicate members taking part in what turned out to be a very successful first year event. Events like this are always so much fun, even if you are just interested in taking in some action from a spectator’s perspective. There are many more opportunities coming up in the form of the Crossroads Cycling Classic taking place July 25 – August 3. This is a great series of races, all of which are close by and easy to get to. Of course, the grand finale is the Hanes Park Classic, taking place on the final Sunday. This is always a great day here at the shop so be sure to come out on August 3. Visit www.crossroadscyclingclassic.com for more information.

Looking ahead a little bit, the Cycle for Life ride is going to take place on Saturday October 18. Sponsored by the NC Stroke Association, this is always a great ride for a great cause, so mark your calendars now for this one!

Thanks and we’ll see you soon!
